From Monday 4 January, four Dutch and four Flemish will take up the challenge in the mother of reality programs: Big Brother. "What happens if strangers live together for 100 days, without filters and social media, while being watched and judged by the viewer 24/7?"
Ziko (34 years old from Lokeren in Belgium): “When you say dancing, you say Ziko. He is a choreographer, runs his own dance school and in 2019 he was even proclaimed Belgian Champion Breakdance. Ziko will be the pacesetter of the house and he sees himself as a real team player. (…) He prays five times a day, but when it is too busy during the day, he sometimes catches up at night. ”
Liese (28 years old from Halen in Belgium): “Liese from Belgian Limburg is a cheerful bum, has a great empathetic heart and a humorous side. She works as an independent home nurse. Liese seems like a good girl, but she does have a spicy side. The disarming Liese is participating for the experience, but also wants to take the money home. ”
Theo (54 years old from Amsterdam): “He was born in Friesland, but Theo has since become a purebred Amsterdammer. He runs his own DIY company and son Sean is his greatest pride. Theo is open, honest and straightforward. He has a very strong opinion and likes to engage in discussions. He has a big mouth, but a small heart. ”
Daniëlle (40 years from Made in the Netherlands): “Daniëlle is a mother of five children and lives in a small village in North Brabant. In daily life she is a teacher at Higher Vocational Education. Daniëlle is a spunky woman, is always there for others and has made little time for herself in recent years. Big Brother is a break from everyday life for her. ”
Thomas (23 years old from Etterbeek in Belgium): “The student-like Thomas has stopped his studies and now works with great pleasure as a commercial advisor. He is a fan of Big Brother and is looking forward to experiencing this for himself. He lives with his friends in a house where he has his own studio. With his positivity, cheerfulness and social skills, he makes himself indispensable in a group. ”
Nathalie (23 years old from Groningen): “Nathalie was born in Thailand, but has lived in Groningen since her first year of life. She grew up with the telephone and social media, and is curious how she will experience it when all this falls away. Nathalie does not shy away from confrontations and says what it is like, but prefers everything to be cake and egg. ”
Naomi (31 years old from Mechelen in Belgium): “31-year-old Naomi works in a vegan lunch bar in Mechelen. She calls herself the sunshine in the house and likes to make people laugh. Hence, she also thrives in groups easily. She has a hard time lying and dislikes people playing underhanded games. She discovered quite late that she doesn't just like men. ”
Jowi (25 years old from The Hague): “Jowi moved to the Netherlands eight years ago for his studies. He grew up in Curaçao and was raised by his grandparents. As a driven and smart student, he is now following a master Finance and Investments. He has recently started a relationship and leaves his friend behind to enter the Big Brother house. He has been a fan of Big Brother for years and has been following various foreign versions from an early age. ”
